Dr Francesca Bugliani Knox

Francesca Bugliani Knox is Honorary Senior Research Associate at University College London. She is interested in the study of the interconnections between literature, theology and spirituality. She published several books and articles on various aspects of English and Italian literature from the Renaissance to the present. Her publications include The Eye of the Eagle: John Donne and the Legacy of Ignatius Loyola (Peter Lang 2011) and the edited volume Ronald Knox a Man for all Seasons (PIMS 2016). She has co-edited Poetry and the Religious Imagination (Ashgate 2015), Poetry and Prayer (2016) and Poetry, Philosophy and Theology in Conversation: Thresholds of Wonder (2019) of the Power of the Word series’. More recently she had edited Ronald Knox’s Lectures on Virgil’s Aeneid’ (2023).
