General

Is the conference going ahead?

Yes! Due to the ongoing situation a decision was made to move the conference on-line. The new dates are: 28 June - 2 July 2021 and we are very pleased to be able to confirm that the Keynote speakers will remain as planned for 2020.

Will the conference be cancelled?

No, we intend for the conference with the themes set to take place. It has been postponed to 28 June - 2 July 2021.

My paper was accepted. What happens if the conference is postponed?

We hope to deliver the conference exactly as intended (with the only exception being the date), therefore, all accepted papers will still be included in the programme

Transfers and Refunds

I booked my ticket already. What happens if the conference is postponed?

If you booked your ticket already, it will be automatically transferred to the new date. Your registration will be deemed complete and you will not need to pay anything further.

I booked my ticket already. Can I get a refund?

Yes. If the conference is postponed because of Covid-19, and you do not wish to transfer your registration to the new date, you can request a refund of the conference fee. Unfortunatelly we are not able to refund the small administration fee. You will also need to register again with the conference fee that is set for the 2021 conference. For all of the above we would recommend doing this only if absolutely necessary.

I wanted to transfer my ticket to a future date but I am not able to attend at the newly scheduled dates.

If you find that you cannot attend the newly scheduled event, you can claim a refund of the conference fees paid. Unfortunately we are not able to refund the small administration fee.

Requesting a refund

If you find that you are not able to transfer your registration to the newly scheduled day or prefer to have the current conference fees refunded and pay the new rate at a later date, please let us know via info@powerofthewordproject.com
